CharterFinder
is a database viewer for late availability flight and package holiday prices. The program is designed for use by independent
UK Travel Agents and is competitively priced. It brings you information which is regularly updated (hourly during the day) giving Late Availability & Holiday prices, and an easy-to-use method to search the database. Put simply, your customer tells you where and when they want to fly and how long they want to stay. CharterFinder searches its database and tells you what prices are available and gives you the operator's details. A permanent connection to the Internet (e.g. ADSL, cable modem or leased line) is not essential for using CharterFinder. But if you have one, it can be used to download fresh database updates with no additional phone costs. Alternatively, an ordinary modem can be used to download fresh database updates. The primary method of searching the database is by entering IATA 3-letter airport codes or by entering group codes. For novice users, airports or groups can be selected from a pop-up list of airport names. A novel feature is support for ‘twinned airports’. This means that airports which are geographically close and often used interchangeably, such as Orlando and Sanford in Florida, will be displayed together automatically. CharterFinder has been written by First-Web Network Services Ltd, an Internet Hosting Provider and software house.
